President Donald Trump said that he had spoken with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and that his counterpart would visit Washington in the future.

“The President invited me to go to Turkey at a future date and, likewise, he will be coming to Washington, D.C.,” Trump said in a post to Truth Social on Monday.
