Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva urged President Emmanuel Macron to accept the Mercosur trade deal.

“I will not leave the Mercosur presidency without concluding the EU trade deal, open your heart to this,” said Lula at a press conference in Paris alongside Macron on the first day of his nearly week-long visit to France.
