Former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers warned that Trump’s policies risk putting the US on a similar path to that of postwar Argentina, which descended from being a relatively advanced developed nation into an economic laggard.

Sweetgreen posted a pretty big sales decline for the second quarter, citing macroeconomic challenges and a subdued industry backdrop. In short: it's getting tougher to sell $15 salads to budget-strained Americans. The company's products are becoming more discretionary in this environment, and an earlier focus on pricier proteins such as stake likely eroded any value image the chain had.
