The WNBA’s Connecticut Sun Could Get a New Owner. Good.
The team’s current leadership can’t or is unwilling to keep up with the level of investment that’s now expected of modern franchises in the league.
The team deserves more investment.

After last year’s breakout season, could it maintain its record-setting momentum and show fans something new? It certainly did. The games were entertaining, the stars shone and a new franchise debuted to a sell-out crowd.
But for one fanbase and team, the good feelings are tempered. Days before the season tipoff, Sportico reported that the Connecticut Sun, one of the league’s most successful franchises on the court, is exploring a sale and relocation.
