Champagne de Lossy, a long-dormant brand dating back to the 19th century, is set to go on sale in coming weeks, marking an unlikely high-end launch in the midst of trade tensions and an industry downturn.

Bottles of brut will retail for about €300 ($340) in specialized wine stores along the French Riviera in Cannes, Saint-Tropez and also Monaco, according to brand President Sebastien Besson. Distribution will expand to other Western European countries, the US and Asia.
