Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez dismissed calls for an early election and vowed to clean up his party after a top aide quit over graft allegations.
“There won’t be an election called until 2027 because this is not about me or the Socialist Party or the Socialist members of parliament,” Sanchez said at a press conference on Thursday. “It’s about a political project that is doing good things for this country.”
