Discussing the rearming of Europe and the role of the EU in bringing a just peace to the war in Ukraine

The informal Foreign Affairs Council with ministers of defence will focus on bringing about the rearmament of Europe and strengthening its defence industry in the current security situation. The ministers will also discuss continued support for Ukraine, and what role the European Union can play in ensuring a just and lasting peace.

The Council will be chaired by The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
